Serving on the Board of Directors at aCross Missions, I’ve had the opportunity to help organize and participate in trips to El Salvador to help meet needs of those who live in poverty. We help groups here in the USA, plan events (medical clinics, food drives, etc), book lodging, plan meals and arrange transportation. We also arrange to have doctors in El Salvador line up pharmaceuticals and supplies for free clinics. aCross Missions is also in the process of building a clinic in El Salvador to offer very low cost medical care year round to the community of Soyapango. At the start of the next school year, we also hope to have a sponsorship program in place to aid in children’s education. Education
